STORY BEHIND THE TEA

Chun Qing Cha is here - we have selected  3 different types from the spring harvest for you.

This authentic Iron Goddess 春青茶 Chun Qing Cha is one of our lasted additions from our collaboration with tea collector and educator Othniel Giovanna aka Exoteaque.

The tea has a deep and body focused character with a complex taste profile. The mouthfeel is oily and a silky, smooth with a cooling sensation in the throat. If you think I don't like lightly oxidized Tie Guan Yin, you have to try this one. Its so unlike, in a positive way, compared to what's usually on the market.

Qing Cha:

Gaoshan Cha means High Mountian Oolong

Qing Cha means lightly oxidised Wulong, however in China Qing Cha is often not considered as Wulong Yet.
As Wulong refers to black dragon, meaning the darker oxidised tea are often refered to as Wulong.

Qing means Blue, Light Oxidised Wulong are called Qing Cha because the tea turned blue / cyan / slightly purple ish during the oxidation process.

If you purchased another tea for preorder just add pick up at the store when checking out so I can add the two orders together without you paying extra shipping.
