|STORY BEHIND THE TEA|
This Samidori and Goko Shincha Set 2 Packages 50g each ( fresh harvested Japanese green tea, first harvest of 2021) contains of two Shinchas from the same farmer, that yet each are a different cultivar . This makes it a wonderful possibility to compare the taste of cultivars next to each other, as they share the other facts, such as same soil, same producer, same processing etc. Samidori さみどり is different from Saemidori cultivar even though they sound very much alike. It often used for Matcha from Uji. Goko ごこう on the other hand is a quite rare cultivar aswell, with a complex yet balanced umami and a long aftertaste. Shincha has a refreshing and zippy character by nature as these teas haven’t been matured at all.
This tea is a limited 1 kg microbatch so only 20 bags are available.
