Asanoka is a cross between Yabukita and the Chinese cultivar Hiramizu, making it a rare cultivar. It tends to be one of the earliest cultivars to put forth buds, giving it the perfect characteristics for Shincha.
It has a complex taste profile with the right freshness from what you can expect from a Shincha and a full body. The experince of the first cup starts off with a light expressive greenness on the tongue and develops into an elegant umami flavour after a few seconds, following the first impression of the amazing fragrence you have when opening the bag.
