STORY BEHIND THE CERAMIC |
A Hohin is a Japanese brewing vessels with a direct hole strainer inside. It doesn't have a handle, so it is best used for brewing high grade green teas, which are best prepared using cooled water. The lid of the Hohin, equal in diameter to the rim, so handling and cleaning it is made much easier. Porcelain allows using different kinds of teas as it absorbs neither the colour nor the fragrance of any tea, also making it ideal for tasting new teas neutrally. |
