Anmo x Y. Shiga Sencha Yabukita

This lightly steamed Sencha comes from the first plucking of the year and has a delicate fruitiness. Shiga and especially the area of Tsuchiyama are situated right at the borders of Kyoto prefecture and its main tea growing areas. Despite it being not well known, teas from here are very high quality and the area itself might be the oldest teagrowing area of Japan altogether. The farmer also won different prices for his teas.
